The NX VP30 (AMP9020) is equipped with Absorbent Glass Mat or AGM technology. The fibreglass mat holds the acid thus the battery is less likely to sulphate. With a superior depth of discharge (DoD) of 80% compared to 50% of standard flooded batteries, ideal for deep cycle battery applications. The NX VP30 (AMP9020) is an excellent battery for start-stop applications due to its low internal resistance and quick high current loads deliverability. This also means that it has a lower self-discharge rate during long term storage conditions. Hence it does not require a topping charge as frequently. AGM batteries also charge five times faster, have increased cycle life and are vibration resistant. It also weighs less since it requires less electrolyte than flooded batteries, making the AGM battery an excellent choice for power sport applications. Lower weight, lower maintenance & overall enhanced performance.
